Back in January, I was kindly invited by fellow North-Yorkshire blogger, Tori (IndigoRosee), to her launch party for Indigo Rosee Beauty. I’ve met Tori at previous events in York, and I was so excited when I saw she was launching her own brand and products. The launch party was hosted at Jalou York, so I knew we were in for a good night as it is one of my favourite cocktail bars in York, and I had also previously been to an event there.
After a nightmare shift at work; I finished at 5, rushed home, showered and got ready then dashed into town for 6pm. I’d invited Abbi along for the evening, so I met up with her before we both walked down to Jalou. We were greeted by Tori downstairs, then we headed upstairs to the private booths. Our host for the evening was Emily, who had previously hosted the last event at Jalou so we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to teach us how to make our cocktails.
During the evening we got the opportunity to take part in a cocktail masterclass, and to make two different cocktails of our choice. I opted for different choices from our last visit, first making a mango and passionfruit daiquiri, then making their ‘bountyful’ cocktail. Both were delicious.
The night gave me the opportunity to meet some new and old faces. I love nothing more than connecting with such lovely and genuine fellow bloggers, it was so good to be able to catch up over cocktails, and get to know each other. If you want to see more of what went on that evening be sure to check out Leanne’s vlog of the evening (click here to be redirected), as I make a special appearance! All in all the launch party was amazing, and Tori should be so proud of herself for pulling off a wonderful evening and showcasing her beautiful products.
On to sharing the Indigo Rosee Beauty products with you…Tori has launched three different sets of lashes; confidence, vonni, and sugar. Check out her blog post for more information on the lashes, and the reasons behind the name of each set. My personal favourite has to be the Vonni lashes, firstly because they are named after her Nan which is so damn cute, but also these are style that suit me most. All the lashes are such amazing quality, and so affordable too (£6 per set, or all three sets from this collection for £15). Not only are the lashes beautiful, but can we just take a moment to appreciate how lovely the packaging is too. The whole aesthetic of the branding and design of the packaging is so lovely. Definitely go check out the range, and make a purchase for yourself.
I just want to say another big thank you to Tori and Jalou York for inviting me to the launch party event, and for my special PR package with the eyelash range. I cannot wait to see what you bring out next!
[Disclaimed: #AD-Event) This is not paid adversarial or sponsored – all opinions are honest and my own. However, I was very kindly invited to attend the Indigo Rosee Beauty launch party by Tori, but there was no expectation for me to post about the event or the brand’s products. However, I have previously worked with Jalou York, when I was fortunate enough to attend a VIP Cocktail Masterclass last year]
