I’ve been having a bit of a writer’s block recently. As much as I’ve upped my ‘blogging game’, with sticking to a blogging schedule and finally making content, I’m finding it difficult to generate post ideas, so I was thinking of new series of posts I could produce on my blog, like ‘Dissertation Diaries‘, and thought I could write about a challenge I’m currently setting myself.
I am currently on a spending ban on new beauty and skincare products. I want to try new products, rather than just sticking to the same products I use every single day of the year. I have too many products that need using up, or even trialling as they have never been opened, and just sit in a huge box of products at the top of my wardrobe.
I first posted a product empties post when I first started blogging, check it out here, so want to branch off this idea and challenge myself to use products up before I start buying more, and then reviewing and sharing my honest opinions of the products on this platform. I’ll be writing an individual review of each product, and also rating them on a scale of 1 to 5 hearts (♥♥♥♥♥)
This will not just give me more space in my room, seen as I currently have two big boxes of different products, but will also allow me to try new products, where I may just find a new favourite (or failure).
I’m thinking of splitting the posts into categories like moisturisers, cleansers, make-up, shower products, face-mask and so on to allow for comparisons, and an organised structure to this series of posts. I have so many products to review, but not enough to say on each product that a whole post could be dedicated to it, so this new series will allow me to do this categorically.
I hope this is something you will enjoy reading,
