Origins ‘Make a Difference Plus+’ Range

I’m back again and this time I’m reviewing some of the products from the Origins Make a Difference Plus+ Range. Back in December last year, yes this is a long awaited product review,  I was kindly invited to an event fellow York blogger, Laura was hosting at Origins York on their new Ginger range, and couldn’t help but make a purchase whilst I was there. One of the lovely sales ladies recommended the Make a Difference Plus+ range for my skin type and the current issues with my skin, and told me it was worth purchasing the gift set as you got all these products for a small amount more than what I’ve had paid simply for just the moisturiser…so I couldn’t say no could I?

First off the products come in the most gorgeous packaging, with a deep purple card box with a lovely ribbon design on the lid. The products included in the set are; the Make A Difference Rejuvenating Treatment, Serum and Treatment Lotion, two Flower Fusion Rose Sheet Masks and make-up bag to match the colour of the packaging.

The Make A Difference Rejuventating Treatment is like a soft gel moisturiser. This is perfect for my oily-combination, acne-prone skin, as it is lightweight and oil-free so it sinks into the skin fast but doesn’t leave it feeling tacky or itchy like other moisturisers often do. I won’t lie I am so lazy sometimes with my skincare and stupidly don’t always wear moisturiser as I can find it aggravates my oily skin, but this one has done me wonders. It does not worsen the oiliness, and has cleared up my dry sore patches of skin so quickly leaving my skin feeling so refreshed and hydrated.

Next, the Make A Difference Rejuvenating Treatment Lotion is a pre-moisturising treatment, that I apply in the morning and evening before the previous product mentioned. The product contains self-hydrating Rose of Jericho plus lychee and watermelon complex, which prepares skin for any further skincare products.

Last but no means least from this range was the Rejuvenating Serum, in a miniature, sample size. As there is only a small amount of this product, I love applying it to those especially dry areas of my skin, which is usually just under my cheek bones, giving my skin that extra hydration it really needs…especially in the colder months.

Also in the gift-set were two Flower Fusion Rose Sheet Masks. I’ve only used one of these so far, I like to save them for special occasions, and so I used one for the night before my 21st. WOW, these masks are insanely moisturising, and gave my skin the instant boost it desperately needed and left it feeling so radiant.

We were also gifted a little goodie bag when leaving. Inside were some lovely little products; the Precipitation Continuous Moisture Recovery for Body, Ginger Hand Lotion and Ginger Savoury Body Wash. I was also kindly given two product samples to try; the Out of Control Face Mask and Super Spot Remover. I absolutely love the Ginger range, the scent is so warming and autumnal, and is now one of my favourite scents.

Overall, I had the loveliest evening, with hand and lower-arm massages and plenty of prosecco and chocolates. Despite being extremely nervous and feeling completely out of place alongside the group of professional and knowledgeable bloggers, the evening gave me a huge insight into the blogging world and Origins as a brand.
