This month’s Birchbox is in collaboration with Cath Kidston, in celebration of their 25th Birthday! The box design is this beautiful pink, blue and green floral design on a white base; it is so dainty and cute, I love it! Right, now on what is actually inside my box this month…
HASK Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner
First off, I received the HASK Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner (RRP. £2.49). I’m unsure about this product, as I aren’t one to use hair masks or condition the whole of my head, as they make my oily hair 100 times worse. However, I love the tropical coconut smell, so may give it a try in the summer when my hair can sometimes be dry; but I think my mum will get more use out of this product!
ModelCo Baked Highlighter
Next is a Birchbox EXCLUSIVE; the ModelCo Baked Highlighter in Frose. (RRP. £24) This is a great travel mini, as it is probably no bigger than a 50p coin. This gives me a lovely glow on my cheek bones, and I love how the shade sits with my skin tone and complexion. This pigmentation is amazing, and a little goes a long way. I also think this will be a great shade for the summer, to give you a fresh blushed look.
Cath Kidston Hand Cream
Every box this month contained the Cath Kidston Hand Cream, with exclusive Birthday Rose packaging (which matches this month’s box design). It has a lovely delicate floral scent, which is great for these spring and summer months! The product leaves my skin feeling silky-soft, and relieved my horrendously dry hands. It sinks into the skin quickly, and doesn’t leave a sticky feel like I’ve found some other hand creams do. It is also a great handbag size, for you to take on the go with you.
Beautaniq Beauty Fill + Tame Brow Gel
The only full size product I received this month is the Beautaniq Beauty Fill + Tame Brow Gel in Brunette (RRP. £8.60). I love a brow gel, especially a pigmented one and find they are especially great for lazy days. I have dark brows, that don’t require much filling anyway, but with this product I can brush some of this through my brows and that’s me done for the day. It define shape, whilst making your brows looking fuller (and that you’ve made some effort, albeit minimal!), and the small spoolie, make it easy to be precise. The product also contains leaf extract and glycerin, so no crunchy or sticky brow hairs, although I would say it takes a while to dry, so be careful not to smudge them when they’re wet.
Polaar IcePure Gentle Scrub
Lastly, I got the Polaar IcePure Gentle Scrub with Artic Cotton (RRP. 23.50). Oh my days, I love this product. It is great for my sensitive skin, which I often hate exfoliating, as it causes my skin to flare up and just feel itchy and sore. Whereas this product has a gentle and soft consistency, especially as it contains moisturising artic cotton, so softly removes any dry or dead skin. My skin feels super soft, and looks glowy and so much fresher. I’ve used this product during breakouts, and it has irritated any of my spots, which is amazing. Oh, I also love the cute pastel packaging!
I’m afraid, this is my last Birchbox post for a while, as I’ve cancelled my subscription. This year I want to save more money, especially after investing a huge amount of money into different necessary items this month (you’ll find out what I mean soon!). Also, I find one month I’ll love the product I receive, but then the next I’m often left feeling very disappointed, so for now I’ve cancelled my subscription.
Anyway, what did you receive in your April Birchbox!?
