Ok, so I think this is my favourite box I have ever received from Birchbox. I am so happy I decided to give Birchbox one last chance last month, and see what March’s box would be like before unsubscribing. I am so happy with all of these product, and have been loving trying them out.
First off I got the BLAQ Peel Off Mask (RRP. £14). I have tried numerous face masks, but have never got round to trying a charcoal peel off one, as much as I’ve been wanting to since the whole hype around them; so was obviouslyy very pleased to see this in my box. I suffered from oily skin, clogged pores and a fair few blemishes and I have found this product is great for drawing out all the dirt from the skin. After cleansing your skin with warm water to open up your pores, you apply an even layer of the mask, and allow it 15-20 to work and set. Then comes the best bit; you slowly pull away the mask (upwards), leaving your skin unclogged, soft and looking super healthy. the only thing I dislike above this product is the smell!, but I can’t get past that.
Next, I got the Benefit BADgal BANG! Volumising Mascara *screams internally* (RRP. £21.50). Although this is only a sample size, I know it was last me for ages, as it takes me a good year to get through a mascara. I was so shocked to received this, as its a new release and there has been a huge amount of attention around this product at the moment. This formula is so lightweight, yet ultra volumising, it is a great combination! the bristles catch all of your lashes, even the little pesky ones in the inner and outer corners! This product claims to last for up to 36 hours, but I don’t think there will ever be a time where I’ll be wearing a mascara for that long!
I also received the Manna Kadar Cosmetics Radiance Split Pan Bronzer and Highlighter Duo full size (RRP. £17). This is a great travel size, and has two products in a handy small package. The are both shimmer products, giving you a lovely healthy glow, and it is great for my skin tone. I will definitely be using and loving the product more in the summer months.
The Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray (RRP. £36), can be applied to wet or dry hair to give you natural looking, unfussy beachy waves. This doesn’t leave my hair feeling crisp and hard like other hair spray products, but instead soft and fluffy, giving it the ‘everyday’ look that I like.
Lastly, the Baija Gommage Festin Royal Body Scrub (RRP. £14.90) smells DELICIOUS (like a caramel pudding!), I have never smelt anything so incredible. the formula is made up of honey and shea, to exfoliate away dry skin; which is especially great during these cold winter days we are having, leaving it looking brighter, moisturised and super soft.
So yeah, I’m loving my Birchbox this month! I was pleasantly surprised, and they have definitely stepped up their game this month!
