As much as I’d love to invest my money into some high-quality, and highly spoke about make-up brushes, I’m a poor student and I can’t bring myself to spend a lot of money on some brushes, that are simply going to get covered in makeup. I have some real techniques brushes that I love, but I got these in the Christmas sales. Instead I decided to browse Amazon to see what they had to offer, and there was a huge selection! I was looking for a set that had a variety of different brushes, including eye brushes, angled/contour and highlight brushes and larger ones for powdering and bronzing.
What a bargain!
I came across this set of 15 brushes for £11.99 (and eligible for Prime delivery), which included all the brushes I was looking for…what a bargain! They are from the brand Qivange, and claim to be vegan. I chose the ‘cherry pink’ colour, with gold detailing. They arrived the next day, in a sleeved gift box, with gold embossing and included a little booklet detailing the use for each brush. Each individual brush was plastic wrapped with mesh sleeves to protect the bristles.
These brushes are SO soft and fluffy, and apply makeup really well (as good as my Real Techniques ones, if I’m honest). They are a beautiful dusky pink colour, and the gold makes them look more expensive than what they are. The only minor ‘criticism’ is that one of the bigger brushes is a little ‘wobbly’, but apart from that they are AMAZING. These brushes were such a good purchase, and a great alternative for those who may not be able to afford, or want to spend money on high-end make-up brushes like myself.
