If you saw my last post about July’s Birchbox, you wont be surprised that I’m back again reviewing the August box!
This month’s theme is ‘Mermaid Vibes’, and I feel this is very fitting with summer, and I love the aesthetic of this box.
Here’s what was inside my August Birchbox…
FULL SIZE A05 Spectrum Brush (in Glam Clam) (RRP £59.99 for set) – This brush is slightly angled with a pink handle and rose-gold metal details. It is very soft, and is great for applying bronzer and/or highlight. Also, it washes really well.
LOC One and Done Shadow Stick (in Rock Steady) Full Size (RRP £8) – This is a bronzey deep brown shade. The pigmentation is INSANE, and it claims to deliver 11 hours of creaseless and waterproof colour. I’ve never tried a cream shadow, so apprehensive on how to approach using this product.
Number 4 Sugar Texturizing Spray (RRP £20) –I’ve use ‘sea salt sprays’ in the past, and felt they didn’t give me the look or style iI was looking for. his spray is formulated with sugar cane to give you loose, shiny waves. I’m getting my hair re-styled (and died for the first time!) in a few weeks, so I’m going to save his to trial on my ‘new’ hair.
NUXE Huile Proddigieuse Or Multi-Usage Dry Oil Shimmer (RRP £20) –The blend of six oils and Vitamin E nourishes the skin. This product can be used on your hair, skin, nails and more, and I found it left my skin so soft, bright and glistening.
Whish Renewing Mud Mask (RRP £29) – This products claims to assist hen your skin begins being problems and has exfoliating, purifying and brightening properties. I LOVE a face mask, so rally looking forward to trialing this product.
I’m really loving these proucts in the August Birchbox, and I’m excited to see what the September box brings!
