I’ve had quite a few empty products recently, so thought I’d give you my opinions on them, and whether I would repurchase them or not…
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash – I LOVE this scent. It is a citrus (lemon and lime) fragrance with a hint of musk and coconut…basically my 4 favourite scents in one! A little goes a long way, and it lathers really well, leaving your skin super soft and fresh.
Batiste Dry Shampoo (Medium and Brunette) – I used to use this dry shampoo regularly in my early teens, but over the last few years I’ve found cheaper alternatives. My mum picked this one up for me as it was on offer, and I’ve realised I really like the texture and feel of this product in my hair. It gives my hair an instant freshened feel and it smells lovely.
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Primer – This primer is an amazing base when applying my makeup, and doesn’t dry my skin out nor oily. I’ve repurchased a Rimmel primer, but I’ve chosen to try the ‘Fix & Protect’ make-up primer, as it has SPF 25.
Soap and Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash – This was already repurchased before this it was even empty. This is one of my holy-grail everyday skincare products.
Soap and Glory Speed Plump Moisturiser – I loved the consistency of this product and is absorbed into the skin quickly, however I don’t think it is ideal for my skin type.
Lush Grease Lightning Spot Treatment – I picked this up a while back after seeing it on a ‘friend of a friend’s’ blog/Instagram (Amber). I found this clears up the red/sore skin breakouts pretty well, but could sometimes leave my skin sticky and oily.
L’Oreal Pure Clay Purity Mask – I recently reviewed this product in my July Favourites. I really like this product, and will definitely be repurchasing it!
Dove Summer Glow Moisturising Lotion – I love this moisturiser/gradual tan. I’ve tried other brands, and find this is the only one that does not go patchy when developing and it can be built up for you to achieve the right colour for yourself. I used this for Summer Ball and it gave me a nice hint of colour.
Collection Lasting Perfection (Cool Medium) – I also reviewed this product in a recent blog post (click here, to have a nosey!). This product will never not be in my makeup bag, and I use it every single day. I mean who doesn’t rave on about the collection lasting perfection concealer!?
Femfresh Daily Intimate Wash – It’s only recently, I’ve realised how much you should look after your ‘intimate’ areas, in terms of using certain washes, that will not cause a reactions, whilst keeping yourself clean. Femfresh, (or any alternatives), is now a must have when showering.
Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Toilette – I love being treated to a Marc Jacobs on special occasions, I just find the scents make me feel so elegant and feminine. The fragrance is floral, with a hint of vanilla and musk (which you know is one of my favourites!). I’ve tried quite a few Marc Jacobs perfumes, and this is definitely one of my best-loved scents (and packaging!).
Yankee Candle Home Inspirations Fruit-Tin Sampler Candle – This is a wonderful summer scent, with a fruity scent which is long-lasting.
